Post subject:  Knotts 340

Another steady performer. It was running at Knotts Berry Farm when I was there 50 years ago, and still running today. Pretty good for an 1881 engine. Would be nice to see it back in Colorado, but I doubt it would get such good care there.

This engine/railroad was the base of operations and demonstrations for History Channel's History Tech on Western Railroad featured on TV recently. Not a bad program- but way too dramatized.
