Post subject:  SC RR Museum reaches Rion Quarry *PIC*

The first revenue passenger train to Rion Quarry operated over the former Rockton & Rion Railway on Saturday, June 5. The trip was relatively uneventful. Below is a link to a pic of the second train of the day just after crossing Rion Road at MP 4.

That seemed to work, so here's another shot, this one at the top of the Greenbrier Cut. From left to right, the guys on the porch are John Parker, Howard Shepherd, Clark Gregory, and Morris Kline.

Dig that new track, man!
