The "Edison" was returned to service on Tuesday, it had not run since the close of last years operating season. It rolled out with a new smokestack complete with a Lempor style exhaust system engineered by the railroads assistant manager......it fires very well! Also, over the winter an electrical system was installed on the loco to permit night time running...all that remains is completion on the dynamo rebuild.
For those of you that have visited the village/museum in the past I recommend you come back by. It was completely revamped this past winter. Absolutely a must see.
