Great Northern Lounge Deaccession

URHS is deaccessioning our Great Northern Empire Builder coach-turned-lounge car. This car is nearly turn-key ready, with a brand new interior, restroom, bar, freeze protection, 480V HVAC, generator, like-new wheels, and in-date brakes. We paused the project short of doing the last of the metal work, paint job, and a few odds and ends, but the car can be shipped and be put in-service as-is. It was renovated with the intention of being a high-capacity, first class option for general service and especially Christmas operations.
This car is both out of scope historically and mechanically for URHS, but will certainly serve another heritage rail operation well. It was just listed to Ozark Mountian Railcar and inquiries/offers can be made there. Priority and pricing considerations will certainly be given to fellow nonprofits!
