The Whitewater Valley Railroad has available a two mast cantilever signal system that has been taken down and placed into storage.
We would like to sell the complete system including all lights, cantilevers, relay box, box mount, and control system parts. We may entertain offers on component parts if a buyer for the full system cannot be found. We have the ability to load it onto your truck(s). Asking $16,000.
The system is approximately 20 years old, made by Modern Industries, aluminum cantilever arms and poles in good condition. The longer of the two cantilever arms is approximately 30 feet long. This unit did not have gates, it has lights only. The system was operational and in use until replaced by the new system required when the road was widened. It had been contractor maintained on the FRA monthly schedule.
