NOTICE OF SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Nevada Commission for the Reconstruction of the V&T Railway (“Commission”) will sell to the highest bidder the following personal property:
Five Harriman Suburban Commuter Coaches built by Pullman Company, circa 1923-27, described as:

Car # Description
SP2091 96 Seat Suburban Commuter Coach, including seat cushions and backs
SP2095 96 Seat Suburban Commuter Coach
SP2106 96 Seat Suburban Commuter Coach
SP2109 96 Seat Suburban Commuter Coach
SP2148 96 Seat Suburban Commuter Coach

Sealed bids will be received by the Commission at the offices of Manhard Consulting, Ltd.,
3476 Executive Pointe Way, Suite #12, Carson City, Nevada, 89706 until 2:00 p.m. local time on the
31St day of August, 2009 for the purchase of the five (5) Harriman coaches owned by the
Commission.
The five (5) Harriman coaches may be inspected at their location of storage at the Feather River Rail Society facility/site in Portola, California; with a mailing address of P.O. Box 608, Portola, California 96122. Any person wishing to inspect the railcars may contact the Feather River Rail Society at 530-832-4131 or lolunar@charter.net.
Questions relating to the surplus personal property being sold by the Commission may be directed to Kenneth L. Dorr, P.E. of Manhard Consulting, Ltd., 3476 Executive Pointe Way, Suite #12, Carson City, Nevada, 89706, 775-882-5630, or Michael Smiley Rowe, Esq., 1638 Esmeralda Avenue, Minden, Nevada, 89423, 775-782-8141.
All bids must be submitted on or before 2:00 p.m. on 31 August 2009 in writing at the address given. No online bidding will be accepted. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a purchase agreement requiring, among other items, that the purchaser enter into a new storage agreement with Feather River Rail Society within 10 days of purchase.
All payments for the property must be in cash or approved certified check.

Was just curious if the harriman cars had sold. Would also appreciate it if you could post pics and history of the cars.
