Orange Empire Railway Museum is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Southern California's railway history. Founded in 1956, it operates a large outdoor museum site in Perris, California, and currently relies primarily on volunteers to implement its programs. As part of its strategic plan, the Museum is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as its Executive Director. Responsibilities: • Developing and implementing a strong fundraising program • Managing day-to-day business operations including staff supervision • Providing organizational leadership, focus, and direction • Acting as a community representative Qualifications: • Strong communication skills • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated fundraising performance in the nonprofit field • Proven experience working with volunteers and Boards of Directors • Practical knowledge, skills and experience in marketing a nonprofit • Educational background in Business Administration, Project Management and Marketing preferred. • Minimum five years experience as an Executive Director of a nonprofit organization.
