Post subject:  CAD Designer/Drafter - rail projects

We are currently seeking a CAD design/drafting technician with 3-5 years of AutoCAD 2006 or above experience. The position requires the ability to develop and manage CAD drawings using client specific standards. CAD design technician will be required to prepare railroad, industrial, civil, and some structural plans sheets following specific client requirements.

Education should be at minimum an Associate Degree with additional technical certifications and training a plus. Rail design experience is desired, but a personal interest and understanding in the railroad industry (past and present) is perhaps even more important.

Job involves relocation to Warren, PA – home of the Allegheny National Forest, Kinzua Reservoir, and some of the finest hunting and fishing that Pennsylvania has to offer, while still within three hours of Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh.

Salary commensurate with experience, we’re a small design/engineering firm and have the flexibility to make decisions that work well for you and us.

If you’ve always wanted to work in the railroad industry, already have AutoCAD design experience, and want to work on some of the most interesting and diverse rail and industrial projects in the US, and want to live in a family-friendly town, we’re looking for you!
