1939 EMC SW-1 loco available. Built 11/39 for B&M as 1110, later Montpelier & Barre/Pioneer Valley 28. Last operated in 1985 on Pioneer Valley, stored unserviceable at Old Saybrook, CT, had some cab vandalism on PV before we got it in 1986. Original 6-567V (pre- 567A) engine, plain bearings (some journal rust on some axles), good wheels, D-7 motors, 14EL brake. Serious inquires only, please, and preference given to bona-fide preservation groups. Must be moved by changing trucks for RB trucks, or loading locomotive onto trailers for road movement. There is a time limit to remove loco, 90 days from 3/1/12. Best offer over $12,000 takes it (100 tons of steel here). Contact me via PM for more information, inspection, etc.
