I have a large quantity of parts for sale that fit the 539 powered Alco locomotives. Parts are new old stock, rebuilt and used. These include used cylinder heads, some with rocker boxes, new and used 1,000 hp. pistons and piston rings, good cylinder liners { these need the upper ring groove machined out }, intake and exhaust valves, new injector tips for 660 hp. and 1,000 hp. engines, injector cores, connectiong rods, new rod and main bearings, wrist pin bushings, wrist pins, new oil pump, 2 old style water pumps and new parts for these pumps, new impellar for new style water pump. Eight 7 x 14 friction bearings, 8 axle end stops and some used standard size traction motor support bearings. Wabco 3CD air compressor and air compressor governors. Large quantity of electrical cabimet parts; contactors, reverser, relays, resister panels, coils, magnet valves, control stand parts, brush holder and carbon brushes for the 660 hp. and 1,000 hp. main generators and the 731 traction motors. Also have some spare air brake gauges in as removed condition. These parts are from an Alco parts inventory and some Alco "S" model switcher that were scrapped.
