I am passing this on behalf of the Railroad Museum of Eastern Ontario (Smith Falls)... At the June 19th board meeting of the Smiths Falls Railway Museum Corporation a motion was passed to de-accession CNR Heavy-weight Coaches 5802 & 5019. Currently the organization is seeking request for proposals (RFPs) from qualified individuals/firms that may be interested in the restoration/removal/disposal of the coaches. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please contact the museum to receive a copy of the RFP as well as applicable documents. Proposals will be accepted by mail or email until Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 5:00 pm.
