The Durango and Silverton RR roundhouse currently has immediate job openings for engine watchman in the Durango Roundhouse. The watchman position is responsible for maintaining steam and water levels on the locomotives when in the roundhouse, as well as performing minor mechanical repairs and locomotive servicing. Positions are year-around with some benefits. These are entry level roundhouse positions. Some steam experience is preferred, but not necessary. Ability to work all shifts, weekends and overtime required. Candidates must pass company paid pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical capabilities test.
