1942 GE 45-tonner for sale by RMNE, surplus to our needs. This is the side-rod version, with steps at each corner. Decent overall condition, last operated about 2 years ago, it probably needs batteries (32 volt system). Has two Cummins H-series 6-cyl engines, one rebuilt in early 1980s. 14-EL air, good wheels. What? That's it? You placed and ad, agreed on a price and sold the loco? No last minute deadlines? No "Must be sold by Tuesday or it will be cut up for scrap!" posts? No "Why doesn't somebody save this one!?!" rants? Well, that was boring. (And well done...) |
