| Post subject: | Wanted bearing for track maintenance unit |
I'm looking for a cover plate or a whole bearing like this one. I don't know what brand it is, but it came off a track repair unit that was an air compressed, generater, and hydraulic pump. The casting # on the cover is PC 341 and on the body it is PC 340. I need a cover, one of mine is broken and missing pieces. Any info on the maker or part number would be appreciated.  Mike |

Mike: That is a Kalamazoo Railway Supply Co bearing. They were used on various motorcars and trailers. They have Timken roller bearings in them. The bearings are scarce but occasionally they come up on eBay. Fairly expensive. I have both bearings and housings. PM me if you want one. Regards, DaveW. |
