The Georgetown Loop Rail Road has an open position for an experienced general mechanic/welder for our railroad maintenance, repair and restoration shop. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, using proper tools and machinery on steam and diesel locomotive components, passenger & freight car components, and other work as necessary. You must be a self-starting team player who can work from verbal instructions, sketches, or blueprints. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
