This is a wooden, former Baltimore & Ohio I1a caboose, built in 1923. It later ran on the Hartwell shortline in northeast Georgia. The caboose needs work, as you the photos show. However, it has been under cover for the past 20+ years and is in relatively good shape for its age. It is largely intact, though the stove is missing. We would prefer to see it go to an organization which can restore and preserve it. All reasonable offers will be considered, especially those accompanied by a reasonable plan for preservation. The buyer is responsible for loading and transportation.
