SEATS HAVE BEEN SPOKEN FOR. From DL&W MU motor car, seat frames and cushions as pictured. Removed about 30 years ago, stored in a boxcar since. About 30 seats, might be more or less. There are bottom cushions, not pictured. The seat frames have a electric heating grid attached- they are heavy. It's easily removable, but you get them complete, as shown. FREE. Bring a truck (or two) and some strong backs. You load 'em. And you take them all. Located in Waterbury, CT. PM me for more info and if you have any questions. Howard P. Howard, I'm from the Rochester & Genesee Valley RR Museum. Volunteered there for 30+ years. We've had a Stilwell coach, that arrived in camp-car configuration, in the mid-80s. There seems to be some fairly serious discussion (with possible money to back it up), to restore the Stilwell back to coach configuration. Would it be possible to put a temporary hold on those MU seats, until I can determine whether the Museum is interested in acquiring them? I could probably get back to you, within a week or two. (I'm no longer in a position of authority to make decisions about such things, but I believe that there is a high likelihood that they would be interested). Thanks for considering, John Redden R&GV RRM |
