Post subject:  Bridge Crane available

The Red Springs & Northern Foundation has a vintage non operating bridge/tie crane on our property that needs a new home. Information regarding it is minimal. A series of pictures can be forwarded to interested individuals.

I know that the engine is a General Motors Diesel 2-53. This would predate the incorporation of GM Diesel into Detroit Diesel in 1965.

Scrap value isn't great at present. I would like to hear any offers rather than melting it down. Any offers/trades would be considered.

Hello,
This unit would make a good addition to our outdated but functional maintenance of way equipment list, which is growing with opportunities like this one.
We also need tie equipment, a tamper and a ballast regulator.
We have a great little spike puller, a new rail saw, and are in negotiations to try and secure our spiker.

Please contact me with any opportunities.

Thanks!
