Hello,

Looking for a light support / Terminal box for a Union Switch and Signal PL3 model PRR position light signal. This may have been called a "spider" box.

See web link below.

https://www.railroadsignals.us/signals/pl/BE010.jpg

Trying to assemble a complete signal. It can be an old carcass with a pole too. I don't need the lamps, have them already. My plans are to make a new target. I believe the PL3s were the more modern design, all my lamps have long visors. The PL3 terminal boxes may have been different from the early PL1 style.

Please PM me if you have this box and would be willing to sell it.

Thank you in advance.

Randy

Hello,

Bumping up this request again as I still need to obtain the junction box, light mounting , ‘spider’ as described in my previous message.

Here is the web image of the box.

https://www.railroadsignals.us/signals/pl/BE010.jpg

Renewing my request to anyone out there who may be interested in selling it, event if it’s rusty and on a pile, as long as it’s complete and no cracks or pieces missing I can restore it. Planning to replace all the lamp mounting pipes with new material. Remove the old pipes from the hub and clean all the threads in the casting (assumed tapered pipe threads)

I’ll be traveling to Pittsburgh in the beginning of May and could pick up in that area or on the way + I live in central Delaware.

Thank you in advance.

Randy
