How wide (or narrow as the case may be) is the frame of the car? |

Came from the instructions for a model kit of the original car: The car scales 41 feet 6 inches long, 8 feet wide across the deck (add 9 more inches to account for the width of the stake pockets), and 3 feet 2 inches from the deck to the railhead. Probably a bit wide for a Maine 2 footer, but still a great idea/concept to knock-off for your operation. A commercial trailer builder could probably weld you a heavy duty frame quite easily.
