Hi all, seeing if anyone has a big bore or wide font 80s K5LA they are willing to sell or trade? Also will consider a K5H to if anyone has one.

eBay has some that pop up every 1-3 months id keep searching there if you want to find one my best advice Is to head up to a scrap yard or locomotive shops (NRE, Larry's truck and Electric etc...) and see if you can nab one there I believe there are a bunch of CSX SD45's/SD50's at LTEX including the last diesel built under B&O order. The scrappers most of the time will sell the horns for scrap metal value so probably around 100-200 dollars unless they know about the scalper prices on eBay which range above 1000+ dollars unless you want a cheap PVC one which I wouldn't recommend unless you want an authentic sound and/or a story to go along with it. |

Thank you. I been trying to get a hold of Larry's, but no luck so far. last I heard they don't let you choose what horn you want. I will definitely keep looking thanks for the advise. Thanks, Jason |
