"Engine 557 #1" U-joints for extending valve stems. I made a few extras when making some to add additional valves to the turret of Alaska Railroad #557. They are cast from silicon bronze and a direct replacement for Nathan or Prime size #1 . They have .365" square tapered holes for the valve stem and extension. They closely follow the Nathan drawing, but instead of the cross pins being peened in place they use circlips.
