Hi All,

My company Rail & Road Auctions has been retained to help find new homes for a CB&Q wooden caboose and troop car located just outside of Lincoln Nebraska. Both this former CB&Q caboose and Troop Kitchen car are part of the March 19th Rail & Road Auctions event. Cars are located outside of Lincoln, Nebraska with ample access for truck / trailer and cranes. $500 starting bid for each car and final bids are subject to seller confirmation. Buyers will need to have the cars paid for within 21 days of the sale, but will have until early July to relocate them. There are additional details within the auction listing and we will be happy to answer any questions. On site inspections are welcome via scheduled appointment. Let's help find these cars a new care taker!

On the website when you log in it says "Lot Passed" which a quick google search says it means the item was sold to a person locally. The highest bid however, was on the internet and not in person which is strange for a local buyer so here is the price statistics round-up in case i miss anything.

The caboose (Lot passed):

Highest bid (which was online): 2,800$

Competing (assuming that competing means in-person): 2,700$

The Troop Car (Lot passed) had one bid and sold for a measly 1,050$ (competing) with a starting bid of 1000$
