**DEACCESSION ANNOUNCEMENT** The Fox River Trolley Museum, 365 S. La Fox St. South Elgin IL has made the decision to make available, to serious inquiries only “Flatcar C” and PCC Streetcar Muni 1030. Flatcar (C) aka Aurora Elgin Fox River Electric 7 is a 1927 product of the standard steel car company…this car is of CNS&M and CA&E lineage…..this car will require steel work and a new wooden deck, but beyond that it’s all here. If you can move it and give it a good home we should talk. Muni 1030 is a PCC Streetcar from San Francisco, CA built by St. Louis Car Co in 1951-52. 1030 was one of the last 25 PCC Streetcars built by St. Louis Car. This order of cars were known as “Baby Tens” on Muni. This car has been here since 1982, and was run a couple times back in the 80s, but has largely sat. The single ended nature of this car doesn’t fit our operating model well. While this car is in rough shape, it’s all here. It could belong to your organization. Please contact us ONLY if you are in a position of authority to rescue these cars.
