"I wanted to comment on our Cabin car (caboose) as it was referred to by PRR. This car is a piece of our history. These cars will never be built again so the availability will continue to disappear while the prices will continue to rise. Our decision to put this up for sale was not based its condition or that it wasn’t loved. It is our hope that an organization or individual will give it the attention it needs. We don’t think of its value in scrap but in the railroad history we are dedicated in preserving. Its sale will help fund other working projects as we preserve our Railroad heritage."
