I am not associated. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 7307584365 "East Tennessee Rail Car Services, Inc. Yesterday East Tennessee Rail Car has three passenger cars available in Mead, Colorado that we would like to re-home. The cars are as follows: C&NW 825, later GN 1098, P-S 1947 56 seat smoker coach NP 512, P-S 1946 56 seat coach Pullman "Columbia College/Cape Fear", Pullman 1922 All 3 cars have been in Class 1 Maintenance of Way service and have been modified from how they were in Revenue Passenger Service. The lightweight cars exhibit typical corrosion for a car of that age and construction. They're not "gone" but will need body work to be safe and suitable for future passenger service. Both lightweight cars have ABD air brakes, Tightlock couplers, and roller bearing wheels with good contour. 512 is TFM disc brake. 825 is tread brake. "Columbia College" is an above average carbody for it's age and circumstance. The car is essentially "tubed". It has ABD brakes, Plain bearings, and E couplers. ETRC can provide replacement roller bearing trucks for an additional cost. This equipment is available either as a group or individually. ETRC's services are available to prep the cars for shipment by rail. New owner is also welcome to make their own prep and shipping arrangements. The adjacent Great Western RR track is currently embargoed, but we have arrangements in place for a one time use to get cars to active track, for a fee. ETRC would coordinate this effort and all 4 cars would need to leave together. Trucking the cars out is also an option. The cars are "free to a good home" however, the prospective new owner must be able demonstrate the ability to have the cars off the property in +/- 60 days. Serious parties only. Picture collectors and tire kickers need not apply. Please don't tell me you want it for your restaurant in Montgomery... Feel free to message us on Facebook, or email at cvp@etrc.info" Edit: Fixed link. |
