I have ridden the Kiski Junction Railroad twice in the last few years and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. It was a leisurely ride along a beautiful river and reasonably priced. I went to their web site and found the notice below. Anyone know why they are not offering train rides for 2017?

I seem to recall a similar notice on EBT's website (prior to the site being taken down) when it announced it would not be operating in 2012, or as we all know, until further notice. Let's hope this one doesn't go the same way, Central/Western PA shouldn't lose another tourist railroad.

After "Googling" the internet, I came across this article written last October which stated their two main sources of freight revenue had dried up, but they were still intending to haul passengers in 2017. Perhaps the loss of revenue caused them to rethink their excursion trains.
