Kind of interesting flick, if perhaps a trifle patronizing. I wonder this man and the railroad are still around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKUCJasMG8o |

Freeze the video at 1:10. Sure looks like a smokebox to me, anyone know more? Loco? Steam Tractor? Steam Outline? Wood stove? Also, what gauge is that? The video seems to be distorted, so I can't tell. 3 foot maybe? |

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-4124899.html Here is a better version. Definitely a smokebox, and definitely a marker light in red primer attached to it behind Jim's head. ...and a link to the engine. http://steamlocomotive.info/vlocomotive.cfm?Display=1466 |

If I am correct, stuff from this estate, mostly signals, has been coming up for sale on Discover Live Steam from time to time. It may be possible that he gave up on the idea? They are the items further down the page in the bleached white section. There were more, but I cant find them on the site anymore. http://www.discoverlivesteam.com/discov ... /index.htm |

Interesting to see such a road as an electric line. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3ywUal6flY Could be an interesting variant for a park train. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s82C9w7SwcA Might be more realistic than I would like. Did the classic interurbans have track that looked this bad at the end? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eu-rQ42sOIQ |
