Trailer for a film on the Toronto transit system, featuring some wonderful photography; it's a product of the Stephen Low Company, which also filmed "Rocky Mountain Express" a couple of years ago: http://vimeo.com/88159215 My own computer had issues with the Vimeo link above; if yours does, too, this link may provide a better feed: http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=the ... 0935C76661 http://ourlifeintoronto.com/?p=2760 http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0522844/ I found that the "historic" footage at the end was from the Halton County Radial Railway, a heritage line I never heard of until looking up other commentary on "The Red Rocket." It looks like a pretty energetic organization, judging from their promotional film on their website: http://www.hcry.org/ The place of the commentary mentioned above. Talk about nitpickers and critics! http://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/comment ... t_trailer/ All this reminds me--Toronto is getting a bunch of new cars to replace the stylish, relatively modern (post PCC) light rail cars that are now over 30 years old. Is anyone working to get one for a museum? |
