General Info:

On Friday, June 27th, a BNSF officer car special (OCS) deadhead move departed Topeka for Seattle, specifically to the ex-GN Interbay Yard.

Routing is reportedly via the MRL ex-NP main in Montana, though at the time of this posting I do not know if the OCS will arrive/has arrived via Stampede Pass (ex-NP) or Stevens Pass (ex-GN).

The OCS will include an occupied movement to Vancouver, B.C. over the ex-GN Bellingham/New Westminster Subs during the Independence Day weekend, including a side trip over the Cherry Point Sub.

Went via the MRL, picked up the MRL business cars and MRL SD70ACe #4408 in Missoula, was in Pasco as of 12:45 PM today.

The consist was split at some point, as the last six cars in the consist (#66, #50, #67, #60, #8, and #32) went WB via the ex-GN through Montana, with BNSF #6889 as power. Passed through Columbia Falls on Tuesday at 10:30 AM: http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,3453796

Meanwhile, the MRL cars were spliced into the main consist between BNSF diner #11 and power car #51.

MRL business car #101 Silver Cloud (P-S, Lot #W6888, Plan #W52013, 1950) built as 72 seat coach for GE More Power to America exhibition train, sold to CRI&P in 1951 as #352 Chicago (1st) rebuilt in 1953 to business car #101 Lake Michigan (2nd) renamed in 1975 to The Rock sold in 1980 to Hank Scharfe #101 and renamed Felipa (#800033) (South Pasadena, CA) sold in 1988 to MRL #101 and renamed Silver Cloud.

MRL dome coach #105 (Budd, Lot #9646-141, 1954, North Coast Limited) built as NP #553 to BN #4620 (not applied) to Amtrak #9480 converted in 1983 to HEP #9402 retired and sold in 1996 to MRL #105.

MRL articulated coach #102A-#102B (P-S, Lot #6515, Plan #7377, 1937, Sunbeam) built as T&NO #502-#503 (50 seats each), transferred in 1954 to SP #2498-#2499, per-car seating increased in 1959 to 54, sold in 1974 to Algoma Central #452-#453, sold (when??) to Friends of the 4449 (DLMX) #2498A-#2498B, damaged in switching move in Montana, sold (when??) to MRL #102A-#102B.

MRL power car #103--history unknown, other than rebuilt from baggage car, my guess, built by AC&F, AT&SF maybe??

MRL dome coach #104 (Budd, Lot #9646-141, 1954, North Coast Limited) built as NP #552 to BN #4619 (not applied) to Amtrak #9479 converted in 1983 to HEP #9401 retired and sold in 1996 to MRL #104.
