Nice pics Edd, thanks for posting them. As a former Arkansan I feel compelled to point out that the Mississippi Delta also includes parts of Eastern Arkansas, not just Louisiana. Further, there are some intriguing railroads in that part of Arkansas, or at least there used to be. Delta Valley Southern, a small remnant of the Jonesboro, Lake City and Eastern, later Frisco, still remains. The Cotton Belt had branch lines all through that area up until the late '70's

I would love to publish some more railroad material from the Delta. It is a fascinating area.
