The (MARS/P&G) IAMS pet food mill at Henderson North Carolina had a GE 70-ton industrial locomotive in use as a plant switcher. Latest Google satellite imagery seems to indicate it's no longer there. Ironically I was thinking about this engine the other day. It was, for a time, listed for sale on one of the sites. It may have been on Railswap, which is now gone. I also wondered if it had been sold, or if it ended up being scrapped. The stack looked as though it may have been re-powered at some point.

According to Jay Reed's Comprehensive Guide to Industrial Locomotives - An excellent resource for looking up locomotive histories - http://www.sonic.net/~jayreed/compguide.html

This unit was located at Henderson, SC at 845 Commerce Dr.

It had builders number 30020 and was built in August, 1948 for the Greenville & Northern as #70.
