Season's Greetings, It's been over two and a half years since I started the Revival Steam Podcast. At first, I thought it was all for my own enjoyment, but some people encouraged me to make it a public podcast. Yes, I made some mistakes along the way, but the more I did the podcast, the more I learned how to do it right and well. One thing about the podcast is that it is audio-only. (I also have picture guides on the Revival Steam Website, where you can see photos of the engines heard in the episodes.) It is all imagination about what future steam locomotive operations could look like in America. Listening to these sounds repeatedly over the years before the podcast made me wonder what it would be like to see real steam-powered freight and passenger trains return to American railroads, even for a few days to a week or two. I also like to use the podcast to inspire young people who want to see this happen again. I am open to comments, ideas, and suggestions about the podcast.
