Sounds like you have done a lot. Considering how far Portola is from anywhere, you have an impressive group of volunteer workers.

Thanks for the kind words. Portola volunteers are treated well. Meals and beverages are provided, as well as clean air-conditioned accommodations. The WPRM goes to great lengths to make their people feel welcome and appreciated. It's a long drive for me from Los Angeles, but I enjoy the pleasant change of scenery.
