I got an email today stating that due to a mechinal issue, 1225 has been sidelined. It sounds like they might just go ahead and start her teardown.

Right choice. If the first failure was a clue, don't chance it any further, you'll possibly be ready next year. If 765 isn't busy, invite it up for replacement runs.
