Today at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum former Philly snowsweeper C-145 is given a legitimate work-out:

They'll need another run tomorrow morning, I'm sure.

Nice shot. Is that an old PTC car in the background?

Later!

More like what's left of one, awaiting frequently-delayed pick-up by its purported owner. If he/they don't hurry up, the vandals may do a scrapping job for him/them.....

What a cool photo, certainly more interesting than watching lite CW44ACs doing the same job.

Not often do you get to see those in action. Very neat!

I second Ed K's comment about a video. That would be really neat (yes I'm a child of the 40s & 50s). I hate the word awesome.

Try this:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/seajay42/sets/72157620965989184/show/with/4197833989/

There's a row of photos along the bottom; about the 16th from the far right is one with a little "play" button in the corner of it, which is a movie (I can't figure out how to link to this movie directly). It was taken during the big snow storm back in January. Hope this works!
