She looks good in the roundhouse, stall 17!

Ummmmmm............ not to be facetious, but...........

Is it in the roundhouse so you guys could do some mechanical work on it involving those hoists, or whatever?

Because, you know, I heard there just *might* be a few folks around town in the next couple of days that would like to, you know, stop by and see what all you guys did, maybe take a photo or two............

Jes' sayin'. I heard the whole town was abuzz about them new Lackawanna engines........

LOL, Mr Mitchell, the roundhouse itself has no overhead cranes. Those cranes that are being repaired/replaced are in the shop on the backside of the roundhouse. She is near that other engine we don't talk about anymore ;).

#664 will move outside for display on Wednesday afternoon. Handrail and porthole sash installation needed to be completed in the roundhouse. No mechanical work was being done.

Amazing to look at that diesel collection and realize that D&H 7312, the newest power visible, is now approaching 40 years old....

...and that it was originally Lehigh Valley 325, part of a locomotive delivery that I worked on.
