Railroad museum has chamber social.

Chamber of Commerce "socials" or, as some locales call them, "Business After Hours," can be effective outreach tools for museums to connect with regional "movers" and "shakers." By getting one-on-one with influential people in their area, museum leadership can increase name awareness and find new funding source opportunities.

Lake Shore Railway Historical Museum in North East, PA is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce. We just hosted the June Chamber 'After Hours' here last week. Had 25 Chamber members AND their families. Gave tours, a quick Powerpoint presentation and speeder car rides. These events are GREAT local PR.
