Location: Somewhere east of Prescott, AZ along the old Santa Fe "Prescott & Eastern"
The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR was among 26 places, including two covered bridges, declared National Historic Landmarks by the U.S. Department of the Interior yesterday:

Nice. Maybe this will open up some other funding sources for the railroad.

Did any one else notice that the V&T McKeen Motor Car made the list as well?

I was just there for the first time ever last month. Words don't do the place justice. If you face away from the main road through town, you really feel like you've walked into, say, the late 40s for the most part. I've never gotten that feeling anywhere else in the US...

EBT is a National Historic Landmark too & didn't even run this year.
