Thumbing through a '41 cyc I just purchased, it occurred to me that I have NEVER layed eyes upon a Sellers type S injector. They are sellers response to the Nathan 4000 and Edna "USNB".... though only the Nathan and Sellers types have automatic overflow valves.
So my question is this, does anyone know of where a type S exists in preservation???

I would like to see one in person at some point.

Cheers, Jason

Western Maryland Scenic #734 is equipped with two Sellers type "SR" and SP&S #700 is equipped with one type "SW".

Intimately familiar with them inside and out.......you probably can find some at Colorado Railroad Museum. I like them, wonderfully easy to use when they are set up properly.

As I understand it, you don't keep newly manufactured injectors "on the shelf". They are made to order, yes? If this understanding is correct then that would make these injectors "new old stock"?

Next you are going to say you have the quadrants to go with them!
