These cars are part of a display at Colliersville, TN, along with former Frisco 2-8-2 1351. Anyone know their origins?

If you scroll down, there's a listing that gives some history. I wonder how accurate it is. Did that observation car come out of the factory like that? It reminds me of C&NW's two Pullman observation cars.

The strange looking observation was Wabash 1600. A picture of it adorns the cover of "Streamliner Cars - Volume 3" by Dave Randall and it appears to be a builder's photo of the car in it's Wabash livery. The information in the book indicates that it was built as a round-end so this is not a Decatur shop rebuild. It came this way although the roof around the Mars light appears to somewhat altered now.
The 1937 Santa Fe lounge is probably the "Picurus" which I speculated several weeks ago on this board might have been in the late BC Rail dinner train which is now up for sale. I had asked at that time what had become of the Memphis Transportation Museum's collection. This post seems to answer that question.
If I get some time later today, I might try to research the other cars. The minimal info posted with the photos on Trainorders will probably allow determination of the other cars' histories.

These cars are indeed some of the Memphis Transportation Museum cars. Among the display cars, the "Picuris" is the one ex-AT&SF '37 built Budd bar lounge dorm that went to Amtrak. The one from the same order that is on the BC Rail train is the "Nambe". The Budd diner with the "flatting" (instead of fluting) is the ex-Lackawanna #469, one of 2 built in '49. The group also has a number of the ex-AT&SF, ex-Amtrak Regal series sleepers from both the PS '48 and ACF '50 orders, in addition to other misc. lightweight cars.

Thank you for the information as to the location of the Picuris and the id of the sister car that ended up at BC rail.
