Was the motor problem that took 401 out of service about 1993 ever repaired? IIRC the '92 Santa Train was the last at Penns Landing. Shortly afterward the 401 broke down, the free jitney service started up, and ridership on the trolleys during the regular season went in the toilet. I think 1993 was the last year I worked there. I returned to SC that November.
