In 1966, Southern Pacific was building a new mainline across California’s San Gabriel mountains. Gordon Glattenberg takes us behind the scenes as he photographed the construction process from surveying to completion.

I'm not at all surprised that Gordon is the author of this program. He is one of the most indefatigable photographers out there and earns his images. He has been a good friend since we met in 1976.
