WOW!! John,

Awesome photographes!! Those B/W scenes are reminiscent of Phil Hastings' work. Very impressive. This should put to rest the notion that the Strasburg is "too touristy" to be worthy of attention. Time machine for sure! Congrads to all on the very convincing makeover of 89. "Odd looking" headlight placement notwithstanding, hopefully the powers to be at the SRC will allow 89 to remain as such at least into next season.

BTW, 89 in her present form would sure good pushing that Russell plow in any snow this winter... hint hint... wink wink. Got to get some dirt on that pretty lok!

Well either a pool of spilled coffee or a pool of rainwater, which was the other option last Friday. Sounds to me like Jim Gunning's "EBT Curse" is wearing off on you!

I think we really have to give credit to Linn Moedinger's dad for that one--he coined that phrase as applied to the Strasburg in his "Road to Paradise" pamphlet many years and many reprintings ago.
