I got some hands on tips last September from a man who ran mainline steam, but only a few are left and there are even fewer who can still get around.

The Kettle Valley Railway (CPR) through southern British Columbia, and the Milwaukee Road (including electrification) from Montana to Puget Sound.

The CPR's inland barge operation in British Columbia from Slocan City to Rosebery, and the branch from Rosebery to Nakusp is also a contender.

The WW&F will be relettering our #10 several times this summer in celebration of its 100th birthday and the several railroads its been on its life.

I'm assuming the best way to preserve the existing tender lettering is to cover it up with a magnetic sheet. I've heard of railroads doing this to temporarily reletter an engine for a charter trip.

Where does one get these magnetic sheets?
