 Post subject: 4-4-0, work train

British Railways work train, pulled by a 4-4-0. Not too unusual, except the date is 1960... Hard to believe such old engines lasted into the age of tailfins and spacecraft. No wonder they love steam trains over there.

Nice picture - I did my formative train watching about 10 miles up the line but the T9's had all gone by 1962/3 though one is preserved.
