I purchased a journal brass and key at an estate sale today. I believe it's Burlington route narrow gauge, it's
marked AAR -G 3 3/4 X 7 and 68 MAGNUS-SL on the brass and C B & Q RR F3371M 3 3/4 X 7 on the
key. Does anyone know what type or make of truck these would fit? Does anyone have a damaged axle box I could
use with these in a display showing how brass and keys worked? Any idea which of the Burlington lines or
what cars used these?

I believe that 3 3/4" X 7" bearings were for use on cars of 60,000 pound capacity, and as such, could be found on standard gauge cabooses having older trucks that had journal boxes for that small size. No idea where to start looking for a box, however.
