We use the same stuff here at the GSMR for Thomas and the 1925's visit last year. It burns very hot, and clean once you get used to it. It takes a little bit longer to ignite, so better planning is in order for the fireman. No thick fires with this stuff! I didn't notice any banking problems, but Carl was doing the banking so obviously no suprises there. I'm not sure how it would do with the 722 with that large firebox, but I would rather have the Pocahontas than any other when climbing Red Marble. Maybe I'll get the chance to prove myself?! Long live the coal burners. . ..
