I stumbled onto this story online while looking for boiler articles for my students.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.

The word on the line is, Yes this true! Now the only question remains: Will Canadian National Railways allow 2860 to runs on its tracks after purchasing the British Columbia Railway? Another steam locomotive, former Reading 2100, was restored, and changed from a coal burner to oil, several years ago. After a test run, CN has decided not to allow the locomotive to run on its tracks, so it stays on display at the Elgin County Railway Museum, in the former MCR shops in St Thomas, Ontario.

What about CP Rail letting them run the locomotive on there rails. Where is the Locomotive? and how far is it from CP Rail?
