Does anyone have a photo of 4-4-0 999, the Empire State Express, at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. We need it for an article.

I managed to snap a few pictures when I was there last year but the quality of them is very poor. I accidently put in a roll of 100 film instead of 400 and everything is blurred. The best shot I was able to get was a side view, but only the rear driver, cab, and front 1/3 of the tender fit into the picture. The layout of the exhibit makes it difficult to get a good shot.

Have you tried contacting the museum? Last year I was looking for information on the O scale layout and found a link to the museum's "Think Tank" and sent then an email with what I was looking for. A few weeks later they snail mailed me photocopies of some old photos and articles at no cost. I would think that they would have something digital they could email you if you state that you need them for an article. The link below only explains what the "Tank" does. Use the museum's email address at the bottom of the "Services" page. At least that's what I did, and I had good results.
